KAFA To Offer Awards To Journalist In Four Categories (BERNAMA)

KOTA BAHARU, Jan 11 (Bernama) -- The Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) on Monday announced an awards scheme to honour journalists who had contributed their services to the association.

Chief Executive Officer for KAFA, Tuan Hashim Tuan Yaacob said the awards would have four categories - best pictures, best news coverage, best audio visual and best blogger.

"The work of all journalists will be adjudged from reports that appear in the local media - print and electronic media - throughout the year, except for the bloggers category," he told reporters here.

Tuan Hashim said the winner of the best picture award would also be based on pictures that appeared in the local dailies.

"The award for the journalist will depend on reports, namely positive reports on the Kelantan team and KAFA, including comments from others, throughout the year," he said.
